I hadn’t realized the woman who influenced my love of watercolor had been doing do since I was a kid. I’ve been inspired by Georgia O’Keeffe for most of my life. A few years ago I was browsing through my special box and found my treasure pile of art clippings. When I uncovered her watercolor titled Blue River I made the connection from then to now. Researching the stories of her skull paintings has recently inspired me.
